Movember aims to help men live happier, healthier, longer lives. Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer are the focus of Movember 2022.

Across the world men die on average 5 years earlier than women and for reasons which are mainly preventable. This means that if we all take action to live healthier happier and longer lives it does not have to be this way.

Approximately 10.8 million men globally are faced with a diagnosis of prostate cancer. The most common cancer among young men around the world is testicular cancer and  Movember focuses on prevention, early intervention and health promotion for men’s health and wellbeing.

It is important that you get to know what is normal for you, so that you know when something is not right, remember everybody is different. If you are worried about your health you can speak to your GP or to your school nurse. You can contact your school nurse via Chat health
