This year it’s all about empowering people with the right knowledge and building confidence to help safely manage serious allergies. The week is also highlighting the 14 most common food allergens, shown below.

If people have anaphylaxis they will have been given an auto injector that they need to use when they feel an allergic reaction starting. It is important that they know how to use this but is also a good idea that everyone knows how to use these in case you need to help someone in an emergency.
